Christmas in Missouri
The day after Christmas, Little Mr. Farwell and Dad flew west to celebrate with the Farwells. Cousins, guineas pigs, Grandma--what more could a little guy need?
Christmas in Massachusetts
Being with an almost 3-year old may be the best way to celebrate Christmas--Little Mr. Farwell loved everything about the holiday, had fun decorating a gingerbread house and cookies with friends, made a repeat performance as a sheep in the church pageant, loved the construction set from Nana and Grandad, understood Santa a little more, advocated strongly for leaving carrots for the reindeer, and is still talking about where Santa parked his sleigh on our roof.

More autumn fun
In November, Little Mr. Farwell had a visit from his favorite professor at the University of Minnesota, played with two of his best "law school" buddies, and delighted in our trip to Virginia for Thanksgiving (except for those 16 hours he spiked a fever and seemed to temporarily lose his zest for life).
